The Buffalo Dental Group Dentists!

Pioneers in Dentistry

The skilled dentists at The Buffalo Dental Group have pioneered Minimally Invasive Dentistry for the past 25 years, since 1994, and have developed many of the techniques that we utilize today. They like to say that the technology has taken us from the Flintstone Age to the Jetson Age. With this technology, they’ve found that we can save more of the patient’s natural tooth structure. Our doctors find dentistry even more rewarding because we're able to offer this type of technology to our patients. They are committed to keeping up with the current innovations in dental technology to offer this benefit to you. They’re confident that one day all dentistry will be Minimally Invasive, but until then there’s The Buffalo Dental Group.

The Buffalo Dental Group dentists are dedicated to remaining at the forefront of dentistry by completing continuing education and advanced training to ensure we are offering the best dental services available, utilizing the most innovative technologies, and providing only the highest quality care. Read our Doctors bios to get to know our skilled dentists before your visit. Spend just a few minutes with our Doctors and staff and you will come to the realization that you are in the perfect place for all of your dental needs.

Bernard J. Kolber, DDS

Dr. Kolber is a WNY native, and after graduating from SUNY Buffalo's School of Dental Medicine in 1986, Dr. Kolber joined his father's practice. The two men worked together for several years, and when his father retired in 1989, Dr. Kolber took over. The Buffalo Dental Group, as our patients know it, was renovated in 1990. After completing the Comprehensive Aesthetic Masters Program at University at Buffalo with his partner, Dr. Vossler, the two committed their philosophy of dental care to Minimally Invasive Dentistry. Since then, the Buffalo Dental Group has been committed to excellence in cosmetic and Minimally Invasive Dentistry. Dr. Kolber practices general dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and dental implants. He is a member of the ADA and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). Dr. Kolber enjoys educating and teaching staff, patients, and other dentists about our ultra-conservative dental techniques and procedures. He’s proud that his daughter, Brooke, is also a dentist and will be joining the practice following her residency, while his other daughter, Katherine, is our Marketing Director.

Ellen M. Vossler, DDS

Dr. Ellen Vossler, a Buffalo native, has been with The Buffalo Dental Group since its inception in 1990. She is a 1988 graduate of SUNY Buffalo's School of Dentistry. Dr. Vossler’s grandfather, Dr. Robert Wilson, a University at Buffalo Graduate in 1923, was a dentist. She knew that she too wanted to become a dentist because she wanted to follow in her grandfather’s footsteps. Dr. Vossler completed her residency at Buffalo General Hospital in 1989 and served as an attending dentist there and at the SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She completed the Comprehensive Aesthetic Masters Program at University at Buffalo. Dr. Vossler is currently studying with the MISCH International Implant Institute. Like Dr. Kolber, she has also dedicated her career to Minimally Invasive Dentistry and practices general dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry. She has completed a cosmetic dentistry certification program at SUNY Buffalo’s School of Dental Medicine and is a member of the ADA and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
